Doctor of Medical Sciences, Senior Researcher. In 1986 she defended her thesis "The influence of liposomes containing adrenomimetics on contractile activity of the myocardium and central hemodynamics". The cycle of scientific works culminated in the development and implementation of the Lipin drug, which has been successfully used to treat neonatal respiratory failure, ischemic heart and other body tissues, severe pneumonia, shocks, as a means for nonspecific detoxification.
Since 1986, participated in the study of the role of biologically active substances of endothelial origin in the regulation of blood circulation. For the first time, the properties and participation of the platelet-activating factor in the regulation of cardiovascular function and its participation in the development of shock reactions were investigated. For a series of studies "The role of endothelium and biologically active substances of endothelial origin in the regulation of blood circulation and cardiac activity" in 1996, as part of a group of authors, received the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology. In 2002 she defended her doctoral thesis "The role of factors of intercellular interaction in the mechanisms of regulation of central and regional blood circulation."
Since 2002, she has been studying the mechanisms of activation of the mitochondrial pore of transit permeability and its role in the development of necrosis and apoptosis of cells. Our group of researchers received a patent for the definition of "mitochondrial factor", which is a marker of ischemic tissue damage. The marker made it possible to quickly determine the degree of ischemic tissue damage during surgical operations, chemo- and radiotherapy courses.
