Mariam has a mixed ethnic background - her father was a military and a lawyer (New Delhi, India), and her mother is an Ukrainian. Due to her origins, Maryam is fluent in the languages of both parents - Russian, Ukrainian, Hindi, English and even Marathi. Throughout her life, Maryam is actively engaged in the dissemination of Indian culture - at first it was a close circle of relatives and friends, which over time expanded and turned into several groups of Indian dance in different directions throughout Ukraine. The main directions of dance, which Maryam actively deals with are Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Bollywood style, folk dances and Mujra-style dance. The team called "Godavari" has several branches in Rivne, Lviv and the Kherson region. Collectives are active and are frequent guests of competitions, festivals and TV shows. Training for all styles of dance Maryam was held by well-known choreographers such as Urmila Nagar, Richa Jane and also she took lessons from Ukrainian masters - Olga Korobova, Marina Kotova and Natalia Vlasenko. Mariam with pleasure participates in various competitions and festivals both in Ukraine and abroad. One of such festivals was the International Dance Festival "UDBHAV UTSAV" I, (India, 2015), she was a guest of the program in the TV show "Dancing Against Depression" on the "SKIFIA" TV channel, gave an interview on the "Star plus" TV channel and so on. Favorite hobby Maryam - shooting in a dash, hand-to-hand combat, travel. Being a creative person with an amazing biography, Maryam says that without music and dance her life will lose any meaning.
