Burenka Victoria has been studied Indian classical dance (Bharatanatyam) for 11 years from Smirnova Anna Igorivna who is a famous master, teacher of Indian classical dance, who holds a diploma from the Indian Institute of Classical Dance "Abhinaya", and was included in the honorable list of professional artists supported by the state authorities of India.

Already during her studies Victoria, with the support of her teacher, took an active part in all the cultural and competition programs of the Nakshatra Theater both in the group and in solo performances.

Since 2012, Victoria has been actively engaged in teaching process of Nakshatra Indian Dance Theater, and also has started giving private lessons.

People’s Indian dance theatre "Nakshatra" actively participates in many famous festivals and became the winner of various All-Ukrainian and International competitions and festivals.

At present Nakshatra, in close cooperation with the Embassy of India, is actively promoting both Indian dance and Indian culture throughout Ukraine.

Burenka Victoria is already the author of several teaching brochures on Indian classical dance , and is working on the translation of one of the oldest treatises on Indian dance "Natya shastra" ("Science of dance") in collaboration with the Ukrainian sanskritologist I.K. Rosenbeyom.
