My name is Alexey Tsukanov (spiritual name is Caitanyarupa das), I am 45 and I am from Kharkiv. I have been interested in foreign languages since my childhood. I speak English fluently. In late 80-s, early 90-s I learned English myself, with different tutors, and then studied at the foreign languages department in V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Since 1994 I have been teaching English with my own language teaching method and also issued my textbook. During the last 25 years I have regularly acted as an interpreter and as well translated books, mostly fiction and religio-philosophical texts.
In 1989 I began practicing yoga, classical Indian dances and displayed keen interest in Vedic philosophy, music and culture in whole. Since 1991 I accepted clean Brahmanical style of life, began studying Vedic scriptures and Sanskrit. From 1999 till 2010 I visited India four times travelling through different holy places from the Himalayas to Kanya-kumari. In 2014 I attended the Sanskrit course by Mandala Pati das.
In 2016-2017 I began actively studying the technologies of perfecting memory, mnemonics, and language learning technologies. In 2017 I completed the courses ‘Supermemory: 1 Level’, ‘Supermemory: 2 Level’, and ‘Foreign Languages Learning Technologies’ at the ‘Centre of Memory Development’ by Alexey Bessonov (a record breaker of the Guinness Book of Records in memorizing great amounts of information) in Kharkov. Now I am teaching these courses at his Centre and privately. But the main thing is that I apply these effective technologies in teaching English and learning Sanskrit.
I also studied music, play several musical instruments, and sing mostly Sanskrit and Bengali bhajans and mantras. I am a vegetarian and fond of cooking both traditional Vedic cuisine and dishes from all over the world, and I invent my own dishes, too.
