Sundari means beautiful girl, the goddess of beauty. It gives birth and manifestation. The qualities of this Goddess resonate with our collective.

Our dance team is young and beautiful, purposeful and sincere in their quest to learn the divine source of beauty. For us, both internal and external aspects of dance are important.

She studied in Kiev with Anna Smirnova (professional performer of Indian classical dance, graduated from the graduation and post-diploma course in Bharatanatyam style in Delhi under the guidance of guru Jayalakshmi Ishwar). She studied with Yoko Yokoyama in Odessa (Anna Smirnova's pupils).

In India she studied with Shalney Ji in Karur (https://www.facebook.com/kamalinirajesh.kamalinirajesh), the state of Tamil Nadu, which is the ancestor of the style. Since 2012 the collective has been called "Nakshatra", as a branch of the Kiev Indian Theater, and in 2017 it received its name "Sundari", already as an independent collective. The basis of the repertoire is the Indian classical dance and dramatic art Bharatanatyam.
